the first of these seemed to go down well the other week so i shall make it a regular event around here. life has been hec-TIC lately, but it’s been a cheerful activity taking a minute to revisiting these sweet moments from the past week and a bit.
i love this very silly cat calendar
the rain has been endless and i have become sick of it but it is undeniably cosy to be indoors and look out upon the heaviest torrents sometimes
i’ve been enjoying breakfast lately (it really is the simple things), especially this za’atar, olive oil and avocado toast and this kati roll-inspired number with scrambled eggs, chana masala and yoghurt. both drizzled with chilli oil, of course

parakeets!
friday night takeaway pizza and condiment flight (one thing you must know about me is that i simply love a condiment)
i didn’t have time for my usual leisurely browse of the london film festival programme this year, but i did manage to get last minute tickets to a couple of films. earlier in the week, i saw superboys of malegaon (followed by a Q&A with some of the people involved with the film) and i loved it so, so much

the vampire aubergine jellycat 😩
managed to cop my favourite sandwich – the bhaji butty – from chatsworth bakehouse this week and it was better than ever

this nearby shack used to be a complete mess but it’s recently been transformed into a free library. i have to move house in the not too distant future, and i need to have a ruthless clearout of books so i might drop some of them in here…
